The Iran-backed group claimed about 20 attacks on Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on Thursday.
Stephen Dujarric, spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, expressed concern and called on both sides to abide by the ceasefire.
About 670 missiles and shelling were fired on Wednesday, the highest since April 17, the United Nations Peacekeeping Force (UNIFIL) deployed in Lebanon said.
