Saudi Arabia has given good news about visas to 7 countries including Bangladesh. The country launched the ‘package Visa’ project to facilitate the travel process of tourists. Eligible tourists will get tickets, accommodation and other travel facilities under the scheme. Gulf News reported this information in a report on Friday.
According to the report, Riyadh has selected seven countries including Bangladesh in the first phase for this newly launched special visa project. Apart from Bangladesh, the countries selected in the initial phase include Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Mexico. Later, more countries will be added to this list, said the country’s Ministry of Tourism.
According to the ministry, under this new system, travelers can complete their travel and visa process through a single booking. The package will include return flight tickets, accommodation at licensed tourist hotels and electronic tourist visas. As a result, travelers will not need to submit visa applications separately or visit the Saudi embassy.
Visa will be issued electronically within 48 hours of package purchase. Travelers will receive their visa, travel insurance and travel related documents via email after booking through an authorized travel provider. So far two travel agencies named ‘Rizerval’ and ‘Almosafar’ have been recognized for providing this service.
The validity of this visa will be three months. It is basically a ‘single entry’ or visa with one-time entry facility, with which you can stay in Saudi from a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 88 days. However, the terms of the travel package must include guaranteed return flights, minimum four-star hotel accommodation approved by the Ministry of Tourism and electronic visa application costs.
The minimum price for the first two days per adult is set at 4,000 Saudi riyals as the cost of the package. An additional 1,000 riyals will be added for each subsequent day. Apart from this, the total visa fee including visa issuance and travel insurance is 402.21 Saudi Riyals. Travelers can add optional amenities like event tickets and recreational services to their bookings if they wish.
