“We’ve seen scenes that no man has seen before—, not even during the Apollo missions. It was really amazing for us”, said Artemis 2 astronaut Commander Reed Wissman in response to Donald Trump’s question.

Wissman said this in that question.
Artemis-2 astronauts set a new record for the farthest point of human travel outside the Earth.
Four astronauts arrived at the farthest point behind the moon at 3:58 p.m. Greenwich Mean Temple time on Monday.
At that time, they were located about 46,771 kilometers or 252,756 miles away from Earth, according to the US space research agency NASA.
No man has ever been so far in space before. Astronauts lost contact with Earth while setting this new record.
The connection was re-established after about 40 minutes of communication.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump congratulated the astronauts for setting a new record for going to the farthest place from Earth.
He also spoke directly to the astronauts after reconnecting. Want to know, how was the experience of disconnection with the world.
“How did you feel after you suddenly lost contact?”, asked Trump.
In response, Victor Glover, one of the four astronauts, said he “prayed for a while” after the connection was gone. But even then it was necessary to record the scientific observations and data obtained from the distant part of the moon, he said.
“We were quite busy here and working hard. And to say, it was actually pretty good”, Glover told Trump.
It should be noted that earlier in April 1970, the astronauts who participated in NASA’s Apollo 13 mission traveled to the farthest place from Earth.
At that time they traveled about 4171 kilometers or about 248,655 miles from Earth.
Until now, that was the record of people moving from Earth to the farthest part of space.

‘impossible to describe in language’
Victor Glover, pilot of the Artemis–tu mission, told team members on Earth that what the four astronauts were seeing was “hard to express in real terms”.
“I know, this observation may not have any scientific value, but I’m really glad we launched on April 1st”, he said. Because humans probably haven’t evolved yet to see something we’re seeing”
Commander Reed Wissman then added his observations. He said
“It’s absolutely indescribable. As long as we look at it, our brain is not able to properly process this view in front of us. It’s absolutely wonderful, surreal… No adjective is enough”
“Some new adjectives have to be created. There is no word to describe what I see outside this window”, he said.
When Glover was describing an object as orange, the group on the ground said that the reddish object was probably Mars.
“It’s a good opportunity to look to the future, where we’re going”, Mission Control said, addressing the four people aboard the Orion spacecraft
The crew later joked about their desire to add 20 new adjectives tomorrow to help describe the summary of the expedition.
‘The world is so bright there’
NASA astronaut Victor Glover described what he was seeing at the time of the solar eclipse as “sci–fi” and “unrealistic”. He also shows the corona of the sun or the outside of the atmosphere.
“It still seems unrealistic”, he said. The sun has gone behind the moon, but the corona is still visible— it is bright and has made it like a ring around almost the entire moon”
“But when the direction of the earth comes to the fore, the light of the earth is already visible. Meaning, Earth’s light can be seen within seconds of the Sun going behind the Moon. There the earth is so bright, and the moon seems to hang before us”
“Now the black sphere that is in front of us is not all black, but the gray color is slowly merging into darkness. Behind it we see stars and planets, he said.
Referring to the scene as “extremely startling”, he added, “The horizon on the side of the moon where the sun has set still looks a little brighter. The light of the earth is very clear, which is creating an extraordinary illusion. Wow, that’s really incredible.”
