A drone attack on Kuwait International Airport caused a fire in a fuel tank. The Civil Aviation Authority of this Gulf state said this on Wednesday. However, they said that there were no casualties in the drone attack. News agency AFP.
Based on preliminary information, the Department of Civil Aviation said in a statement posted online that the attack caused only ‘limited’ damage.
Abdullah Al-Rajhi, spokesman for the organization, said, ‘concerned authorities have immediately implemented approved emergency measures’ and fire brigade has been deployed to control the fire.
Kuwait Airport has been attacked several times since Israel and the United States launched an attack on Iran on February 28 when regional wars broke out.
On March 14, the Civil Aviation Authority said, ‘used multiple drone’ to target the airport in an attack and damaged ‘’s radar system. However, no casualty was reported in this incident.
On March 8, drones hit the airport’s fuel tank, and an earlier attack on a passenger terminal injured several people slightly and caused some damage.
